Why Visit the San Diego Botanic Garden?

Trapped within the concrete jungle, we often forget to reconnect with nature. Visiting the San Diego Botanical Garden is going to help you achieve exactly that.

Walking through the serene train and observing the exotic plants in the most eye-catching form is a must during your trip to the beach paradise of San Diego. This green heaven is spread across 37 acres and is home to over 5000 different plant species from all across the world.

The garden is divided into different regions with a theme for each section, including Mediterranean, Africa, and Australia, making it convenient for the tourists to study what interests them. The botanical garden also puts on an extraordinary Lightscape show every year during the holiday season. It also has the largest public bamboo collection in North America.

In addition to being a treat to the eyes, the San Diego Botanic Garden harbours a wide variety of local, medicinal, and agricultural plants focusing on their conservation, preservation, and development.

Don't miss out on the Old World Desert Garden for a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean. Whether you want to capture the rare blooms in your camera, stroll peacefully in the midst of nature or ponder about conservation of diversity, San Diego Botanical Garden is the perfect spot. It is a refreshing experience, leaving you feeling tranquil.
